Neosurf Turns Compliance Pink at ICE London 24
Neosurf, a global leader in secure online payment solutions, is proud to announce a poignant initiative led by Steven Armstrong, their new Head of Global Compliance, in conjunction with their brand's 20th anniversary.
Steven has launched an inspiring campaign to change how we think about compliance and support the work of Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity, a cause close to heart following his wife Ruth’s breast cancer battle.
Says Steven, “On February 6th, 2023, our family's life changed forever upon hearing the words 'I am sorry Mrs Armstrong, you have breast cancer'...”. He recounts the harrowing 20 weeks that followed: chemotherapy, hair loss, reconstructive surgery, and the challenges faced as a family.
As Ruth embarks on the next treatment phase, Steven is keeping a promise to his children. He pledged that when Ruth triumphed over the most challenging part of her battle, he would perform a symbolic act – shaving off his beard. However, his colleagues proposed a more creative idea – dyeing it pink for 20 days – as a vibrant nod to the company's brand colour and 20th anniversary and a symbol of his commitment to raise funds for breast cancer charity Future Dreams.
The launch of this campaign - 6th February, not only coincides with the anniversary of Ruth's diagnosis but is also the first day of the gaming industry’s biggest event - ICE London 24.
Suffice to say that, with his vibrantly dyed beard, Armstrong will be impossible to miss. Attendees can find him at the Neosurf coffee stand N6-200 or the meetings stand N9-443.
