Honorary Alderman Najma Hafeez welcomed today’s historic vote in the Commons, where MPs voted 311 to 293, and found this Government, in contempt of Parliament, for refusing to release official legal advice on Teresa May’s Brexit deal.
She added: “This Government has gone too far in its contempt of the great British people.
She duped people before, in not releasing information giving the true impact of Brexit on this Country. Now that people have more information, and realise the consequences, they deserve a second vote. The most senior bodies in Commerce, Business, Finance and now even the British Medical Association, have come out expressing grave concerns. Surely now, Theresa May,
