New edtech app Noisy Book celebrate a successful launch

Education technology app, Noisy Book, launched in September and was met with great acclaim.

Noisy Book is the creation of a family team, consisting of a father, mother and daughter, that utilised machine learning to make reading more fun and enjoyable, for both children and the adults reading to children. The idea has been under development for a considerable time, over two years, as the technology needed to support the edtech app only became available with the Apple iOS13 update.

After a chance meeting with Apple in the UK, Noisy Book was launched into the spotlight and the Noisy Book team was invited to speak at the Apple WWDC19 conference in California. Noisy Book beat millions of other apps for the conference spot and a successful presentation was lead by the app's main developer.

On the conference and the launch of Noisy Book, a company spokesperson said "Presenting to a live audience of 6,000 people was an amazing opportunity for Noisy Book and felt worlds away from the quiet, leafy countryside of Hampshire where the app began. Since the launch, we couldn't be happier with how the app has been received."

Since its launch in September, Noisy Book has been featured on top App Store lists such as 'New Apps We Love', 'Best Apps of September' and 'Awesome Kids Apps' along with other popular apps such as BBC, Dr Panda and Paw Patrol.

The app helps develop the natural learning process of children by providing automatic sound effects to any story, helping children and adults to enjoy reading more. Via the apps advanced language and speech recognition, users can also create their own books through transcribing speech, with the text responding to the saliency and inflection of the speaker's voice to produce a beautiful graphical representation of their speech.

This is just the beginning of Noisy Book's career and the company undoubtedly have an exciting journey ahead.
