NTP Online learning competes against Rolls Royce in finals of prestigious learning excellence awards.
NTP Online Learning has been announced as a finalist in the prestigious learning excellence awards for their unique online transport manager certificate of professional competence study course.
The Lincolnshire based firm NTP Online Learning, which launched the first of its kind online course in 2017 has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Course or Initiative and Supply Chain categories competing for the prestigious Learning Excellence Award title against the likes of Rolls Royce, Honda Motor Europe and Allied Irish Bank.
The women-led family business first launched in 2009 offering face-to-face training services to the transport and logistics industry, they quickly recognised that the industry needed to change, and over the next 6 years set about creating an online study course that would revolutionise the industry.
Since the launch in 2017 over 8000 students have upskilled online with NTP’s online training centre and the company continues to grow to offer more courses to meet demand and help transport operators and HGV drivers stay safe, legal and on the road.
The company is delighted to have been announced as a finalist and hopes to win the award. Kelly Moore, head of training at NTP said “To receive this exciting news exactly 4 years from the day we first launched the course is amazing. We always knew our course was brilliant and we are thrilled that it’s now getting the recognition it deserves. We’ve helped thousands of students gain a qualification they wouldn’t have had if this course didn’t exist and we are extremely proud of how far we’ve come and what we have achieved”
Part of the awards criteria was surveying students and it was through this exercise that the company discovered that over 75% of students wouldn’t have been able to take the course if it hadn’t been online, and, of all the students who have completed the course 92.8% of people give credit to NTP’s course for their promotion or ability to start their own business.
In addition to these already impressive stats, the survey results revealed that 78.57% of students rated the company as better or far better than competitors, a result that the firm is truly delighted with, and a figure few companies ever manage to achieve.

The company will have to wait until April 2022 to find out whether they will take home the learning excellence award when a ceremony will take place at the National Conference Centre but in the meantime, they plan to keep on developing courses to help drivers, traffic office staff and operator licence holders and getting the word out about their unique online course.
