Manifestos need to acknowledge the importance of attracting talent to keep the UK at the forefront of innovation

The importance of the tech sector needs to be a key thought when parties are launching their manifestos this week, says payments disruptor Paysend.

The firm is speaking out as the UK looks towards a post-Brexit future, and wants to highlight the importance of immigration to its workforce.

Ronald Millar, CEO of Paysend, said: “We are committed to the UK, but our team is made up of international talent. Firms like ours, at the forefront of innovation, need to be able to access the best talent from across the globe in order to stay competitive.

“We hope that whatever the result is on 12 December, the UK will be able to strengthen its position as a global leader in FinTech and technological innovation.”
