Paysend announces Money for the Future webinar series
• Weekly webinar series part of FinTech firm’s educational programme about digital money
• Group CMO to be interviewed by journalist for first webinar on June 10th
UK FinTech company Paysend today announced that it will be launching a weekly educational webinar series entitled Paysend Conversations about Money for the Future. The first webinar of the series will feature group CMO Alberto Macciani being interviewed by Tet Kofi, journalist and Head of Content at Journolink, and will take place at 5 pm BST on Wednesday June 10th.
All webinars will be hosted on Zoom and available for the public to sign up to.
During the coronavirus crisis Paysend has launched an educational programme aimed at informing consumers about the many benefits of digital money, and the important role it will play in a post-corona world.
“We’re at a pivotal point in financial history, when people around the world are being forced to change their day-to-day money habits thanks to enforced lockdown restrictions,” Mr Macciani said. “The current situation will have long-lasting effects on the way that people hold, send and spend their money, and technological innovation will play an essential role in the future of money.
“As a FinTech firm constantly trying to improve people’s lives with simplicity and innovation, it’s our job to educate our audience as best we can about digital money and what we at Paysend call Money for the Future.”
Paysend is a global disruptor within the digital money space, having launched a digital card-to-card money transfer platform in 2017, which now has over 1.8 million customers, and the firm recently launched its very own international money account Paysend Global Account.
“We want to bring fast, simple and low-cost money management solutions to as many people as possible,” Mr Macciani added. “But unless we nurture a widespread understanding of Money for the Future, some people are less likely to use these digital money services, and so won’t feel the same benefits as others who do. We want to create financial equality through our solutions.”
Paysend Conversations about Money for the Future webinar takes place at 5 pm BST and will run for approx. 30 minutes.
