Random Act of Gifting - Would You?

It's International Random Acts of Kindness Day on Wednesday 17th February.

These last few months have been a hive of activity for good deeds from food bank charity support, volunteering and more acts than we can mention from caregivers across the UK.

However, with limited ability to get out and interact with people whether that's out of kindness or not make this more challenging- but we can make a solution and you too can spread a little joy! It’s about spontaneity, an act of selflessness and in the process making someone else feel happy or supported.

So what better way than to send a little gift directly to someone you care about when they are not expecting it. Pedddle is hosting a Random Acts of Kindness Virtual Market via the brand new virtual event platform for creatives - Tresstle.com.

Customers can shop from small creative businesses, sending a gift that is wrapped with a lovely note to a friend, neighbour, colleague, stranger or loved one!

It's actually a double act of kindness, shopping from and supporting small independent businesses and gifting! Amidst the Covid crisis and UK lockdown this is the ideal time to do this as we all need a little 'pick-me-up'. Spreading kindness is more imperative than ever.

This event will support over 300 small businesses!

On Wednesday 17th February, 10am - 10pm, join us and support our Random Acts Virtual Market, simply visit: https://tresstle.com/events/the-random-acts-of-kindess-virtual-market/

Gifts start from £5.

Notes to Editors

The term ‘random act of kindness’ is attributed to Anne Herbert, who wrote, “Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty” on a restaurant place mat in Sausalito, California in 1982 - surely a motto to live by. Her book with the same title followed in 1993.

A random act of kindness being an unexpected act of charity or helpfulness and is often done for a stranger.
