Pet Flaps UK delighted to now offer energy-efficient Petflaps
We recently teamed up with EcoFlap, the inventive business with their letterboxes which tackle the age-old problem of front-door draughts.
Here's what they have to tell us about their energy-conscious Petflap
"Draughtproof Petflap keeps homes cosy from Shetland to New Zealand"
Draughtproof, rattle-free and easy on the eye - these are the keys to the success of the Petflap pet door which has been installed around the world over the last five years. It features in a New Zealand episode of Grand Designs.
The Petflap's revolutionary asymmetrical cut means it shuts to a draughtproof seal every time, operating without springs or hinges. Its gentle action means no tails or paws get trapped, but it opens with the slightest nudge of nose or paw.
The Petflap's unusual circular shape appeals to pet owners looking for new, clean design alongside energy efficiency and increased home comfort. It's often bought by energy-conscious householders attracted by the prospect of cutting out draughts without impeding their pet's freedom to come and go. "We're delighted to appeal to pet owners looking to improve the energy performance of their homes," explains Communications Manager Heather Dontenville. "We've worked hard to design a high performance product that is aesthetically appealling. We think form and function come together pretty well in the Petflap."
The standard Petflap is available in black or white, with trunking 70mm long. The Petflap can be supplied with shorter or longer trunking, and the team is happy to work with clients who need a more complex bespoke pet door solution. It is joined by the Maxflap, a larger draughtproof pet doormade from sustainable and durable tricoya MDF. The Maxflap is currently made to order.
The Petflap is hand built in the UK and retails from £69 and be be bought and installed through PetFlapsUK.com Tel 0330 320 1420
