Five-star hotel extends luxury welcome to four-legged guests
An exclusive hotel sitting at the heart of the country’s capital is extending its five-star welcome to the four-legged, furry friends of its guests.
The pet-friendly Prince Akatoki London is ensuring that visiting dogs enjoy their stay every bit as much as their owners by greeting them with luxury hampers.
The hampers can be requested when guests make their reservations and are filled with goodies including luxury treats, grooming products, and a Pet Hamper exclusive natural rope bone toy.
The welcome gifts are bespoke creations designed to the hotel’s specifications by Pet Hamper, a company which specialises in luxury gifts for animals and their owners.
The hamper itself is decorated in neutral tones to match the hotel’s own tranquil décor, and each hamper features a three-ply luggage label style tag which is personalised for the pet.
The UK is a pet-loving country, with around half of all households home to an animal. Dogs remain the most popular choice of pet.
And with 90% of owners considering their pet a member of their family, it’s no surprise that more than half of owners travel with their dogs, and 37% would rather stay at home than travel to a destination that didn’t allow pets.
When The Prince Akatoki noticed just how many of their guests brought dogs, they opted to make provisions especially for four-legged travelers, leading to the partnership with Pet Hamper.
The hotel then staged a photoshoot, with various pet dogs enjoying the hampers, which have proven a huge hit both on the hotel’s website and on its social media channels.
