Local husband-and-wife team launch pet-care business for furry friends in Chichester

On 1st August, Chichester welcomed a brand-new pet-care business to support the growing demand

for pet services in the local area. Run by Chichester locals Sue and Jon Vinsome, Petpals Chichester

will provide expert pet-care services such as dog walking, cat visits and pet-sitting to keep all tails wagging when it opened on Monday. With Jon providing office support from their home office, Sue is excited to get out and about, meeting plenty of new furry friends.

“My brother, Peter, owns a Petpals location,” said Sue. “We had dinner with him, and he convinced

us to launch our own. He loves it and has been really successful! We know that with the right work

ethic, we can match his success. Having run an accountancy firm locally for over 10 years, we want

to continue to support the local community – but now we’ll be supporting our four-legged friends as well.”

Joined by their beloved lurcher, Koco, Sue can’t wait to meet all the pet-passionate owners

of Chichester.

“I’ve recently completed my pet first aid training, so I can provide the best possible care,” said Sue. “I

know it will be a privilege to look after someone's pet, so I want to be best prepared for all

scenarios. We’ve now completed our comprehensive pet care training, and we can’t wait to get going.”

Sue and Jon are joining the growing Petpals community. Petpals is the UK’s longest-established pet-

sitting and pet-care franchise. The brand offers a range of bespoke and award-winning services from

dog walking and pet sitting to pet taxis in their branded vans. With over 150 locations across the UK and a dedicated head office team to support their journey, the couple are ready to

bring Petpals’ award-winning pet-care services to the region.

“Having come from an accountancy background, it’s great to have industry-leading support so we can deliver the best pet-care possible,” said Jon. “We wanted to pair ourselves with the best, so we

could bring the quality of service our local community deserves. We already have our first

staff member lined up, who has experience with a range of pets, and we can’t wait to grow our team as we get some regular customers.”

With an estimated 52% of UK adults now owning a pet, Sue and Jon are looking to achieve fantastic

results with Petpals Chichester*.

“As we grow, we would love to expand the area we cover,” said Sue. “We’re really driven to be able to offer Petpals’ award-winning services to our pet loving community. As dog owners ourselves, we want to give the experience we would want for Koco to all our customers and pets. Initially, we will cover Chichester, Bognor Regis, Pagham, Felpham, Barnham, and Yapton, but we have plans to expand in the future. We believe that Petpals offers the best pet-care service in the UK, and we can’t wait to show people why when we launch in Chichester and the surrounding area.”
