Worried to send your watch away for repair? PIMdesign helped overcome that fear.
Most people would rather take their watch to a jeweller or watchmaker for repair, but through extensive market research, A/B testing, Analytics and user testing, PIMdesign worked with Fix My Watch to break down barriers and resistance to buy.
Manchester-based PIMdesign recently reached an impressive 26 years in the internet business, which is quite an achievement. Owner and MD, David Frieslander has an unusual approach that has created many success stories for himself and his clients.
One such client who repairs watches wanted to start an online business and so asked David and his team to help.
After extensive market research conducted by PIMdesign, barriers were found that would reduce the success of the new proposed online service.
"Every business has barriers that need to be overcome to get a sale online," says David. "It could simply be that you're missing the product dimensions, the returns policy or an image."
Keeping design simple, PIMdesign built a site for FMW that removed the barriers that would stop someone from sending their precious watch for a new battery or service. They helped the customer identify the type of watch they had so that they got a quote that included the secure pickup and return.
Fix My Watch now pick up the watch by the secure carrier, repair or service most major brands for which they are accredited and then return the watch by the same carrier.
PIMdesign pushed the client to exceed the customers' expectations further with constant updates about the watch progress from the pickup, its arrival and through the workshop, to its safe return.
But as if that was not enough, the watch is returned in a beautiful practical watch case and gold foiled certificate authenticating the repair and providing a 2-year repair guarantee. All of this adds value to the watch.
The service offers better value, faster turnaround with their pickup, repair and return service found here at www.fixmywatch.co.uk
