British craft distillery Two Birds Spirits launch a new array of infused gins and summer serves

Two Birds Spirits’ Head Distiller, Simon Brannon, has developed three infused gin editions just in time for the summer season and World Gin Day.

Already proving a huge success among avid fans, the three new releases created and bottled at the distillery in the pretty town of Market Harborough, Leicestershire, include Two Birds Spirits Parma Violet Gin, Lemongrass Gin and Watermelon Gin, all distilled using award-winning methods from Founder and Master Distiller Mark Gamble.

Providing consumers with a full-bodied gin experience, the three new editions add to the brand’s growing collection of spirits which includes Vodka, Rum and Absinthe.

For World Gin Day, Two Birds Spirits has created seven new signature serves and an aperitif using the three new editions alongside their popular Strawberry & Vanilla Gin, Rhubarb Gin and two original Two Birds Classics, London Dry Gin and Old Tom Gin.

To be enjoyed in the garden with friends and family, the new mouth-watering Watermelon Gin served in a jug over crushed ice and poured into a wine glass is the perfect sharing aperitif, it looks impressive and has the taste to match.

Method: Mix 50ml Watermelon Gin, 25ml Two Bird’s Strawberry and Vanilla Gin, 25ml lime juice and a dash of sugar syrup per serving, top with soda water and garnish with seasonal mint and fresh British strawberries.

Founder and Master Distiller Mark Gamble commented: “It’s important to always be innovative and develop new spirits that inspire our customers to get creative at home and enjoying Two Birds.

“Engineering new taste profiles is at the heart of our craft spirits business, with Vodka, Rum, Gin and Absinthe we now have more than 20 spirits in the craft collection and it will continue to grow.”

Two Birds Workshop: The perfect way to celebrate World Gin Day

As the home of craft gin innovation and knowing that each gin connoisseur has their own personal tastes, Two Birds recently launched The Workshop; a unique three-hour experience which incorporates a gin masterclass and the opportunity to distil their own 70cl bottle of gin using an array of botanicals.

Mark added: “We actively encourage our customers to come to The Workshop and develop their own taste profile, get creative with the botanicals and come away with their very own gin.”

About Two Birds Spirits:

Hatched back in the summer of 2012, Two Birds Spirits was created by engineer and gin enthusiast Mark Gamble. Often found tinkering away in his workshop, it was only a matter of time before his two loves combined – and so ‘Gerrard’, Two Birds very first copper still was built. Just two months after launching, the London Dry Gin was awarded Top Gold Award at the Craft Distillers Alliance and we’ve never looked back – our spirits have gone on to win a number of awards both nationally and internationally.

2014 saw Two Birds Spirits spread its wings, moving down the road from our small home-based workshop to a new 5,000sqft purpose-built distillery. And while our surroundings may have changed, our production methods haven’t. All our spirits are still distilled using ‘Gerard’ and are lovingly handcrafted by us from bottle filling to packing.
