Safiro returns to steal the show with Jardin de Joie - a new fine collection of signature kaftans presented in Belgravia, London

Upstart fashion brand SAFIRO is proud to present its latest fine collection, Jardin de Joie, with signature kaftans and flowing separates, celebrating women’s unique personalities. The collection is presented at Nicola Donati Luxury Style Retreat in Belgravia and featured in a recent photoshoot in Tulum, Mexico, collaborating with artisanal fan maker Rockcoco Fans.

Last year, SAFIRO made headlines at Royal Ascot with what The Daily Mail described as ‘a Masterclass in Monochrome magic’. This year, the visionary sustainable brand, whose collection is presented at Nicola Donati Luxury Style Retreat in Belgravia, hopes to grab the limelight with its divine artisanal kaftans.

“We’re delighted to present the Jardin de Joie collection this season. As the world is re-opening and we start to travel and see friends, we are re-discovering joy and beauty, those treasures in our hearts and around us that we missed so much. Last year, the Glimmer collection took us from the terraces at Royal Ascot to the Casino of Monte Carlo, and our capsule collection graced the pages of Hola!, the Telegraph, The Daily Mail and many more. We can’t wait to see where this collection takes us.” Yulia Shirokova, Safiro Founder.

Botany is a key theme behind the Jardin de Joie collection, which was inspired by the grand terraces of Southern Europe and Latin America. The colours and textures reflect different personalities of women, from soft and feminine, strong and powerful, romantic and sensual, with each piece representing a unique mood. The collection was shot in Tulum, Mexico, providing a perfect background to capture that quintessential spirit of freedom and joy.

Comprising five limited-edition made-to-order kaftans and flowing silk separates, the collection showcases Safiro’s impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each piece is made with unique artistic embroidery and haute couture elements, referencing the women’s unique personalities who inspired it.

As before, the garments themselves are named after iconic gemstones. Some jewels include:

Sunstone: This stunning luxury kaftan takes its name from a rose-hued, semi-precious gem found in the chilled Nordic lands. Like its Scandic namesake, this luscious, ever-flowing, dusk-rose kaftan dress catches the light effortlessly. Sunstone boasts its raised shoulders and silver jacquard flowers on a silk chiffon base.

Larimar: This gorgeous turquoise crystal found only in the Caribbean is, by contrast, cool and subdued. As the wearer walks, the beautiful kaftan ebbs effortlessly like a gentle lapping shoreline. Larimar’s palette is one of fresh mint emboldened by peacock and ostrich feathers. Larimar is aptly named as its chilled effervescent vibe is the ideal companion for late-night beach strolls and is substantial enough to warm the coolest of shoulders.

Safiro’s new kaftans are the ideal marriage of style and comfort. Their forgiving, flattering silhouettes lend femininity and grace to all body shapes throughout seasons: from the gala evening to a beach party, from Royal Ascot to the stylish baby shower. The collection also features Kaftans in deep navy and even as a twin set lilac top and silk trousers.

Safiro’s new kaftans are featured in a recent collaborative shoot with artisanal hand fan maker Rockcoco fans. We paired the rich rose of Sunstone with Eton, a delicate, hand-painted, hand-carved hand fan, leaf edged in lace and signed by the artist. The Larimar kaftan was complimented superbly by Valencia - a subtle fan handmade from finest cream cotton and trimmed with delicate cream and silver lace with a faux pearl pin and cream tussle.

Freedom of movement and chic comfort were central to the Jardin de Joie collection’s design concept. Safiro chose to create a versatile wardrobe with equal parts glamour and common sense.

As you would expect from an eco-focused brand, Safiro’s collection is hand-crafted locally from ethically sourced materials by skilled artisans. In addition, the company operates a zero-waste policy and offsets any carbon emissions their production creates.

SAFIRO invites all interested parties, including stylists, journalists and influencers to view the collection at Nicola Donati Luxury Style Retreat in Belgravia, London and is open to discuss collaborations with other brands with similar ethos in the luxury and creative industries.
