Eco Boy sets up Eco Tape Business, with the Princes Trust, to combat the ‘cellotape epidemic’ at Christmas.
Zack, 19, from Birmingham, increasingly known as Eco Boy, set up his
Eco Tape Business, with the help of the Princes Trust Charity, to provide
a sustainable alternative to cello-tape for Christmas 2020; to
manufacture a vaccination to cure the silent ‘cello-tape epidemic’ that
spikes every Christmas.
His Green Peace Love Joy design and Red Merry Christmas designs
have already started their inoculation process, and Eco Boy’s hopes are
to achieve Herd Immunity across all celebrations throughout the year:
including Valentines and Birthdays. The Eco-friendly Kraft Paper Tapes
are Fully Recyclable alongside boxes, packaging, and recyclable
wrapping paper. Their Self-Adhesive nature uses a natural rubber and is
even Vegan. With smooth exteriors and super sticky innards they quickly
suffocate to their patients skin. At present they have a dosage of 50
metres long and 25mm wide, however hopes are high for an expansion
of widths to meet the needs of the many; whom are using ever bigger
boxes and presents.
Zack/ Eco Boy prides himself, that he does not come from a wealthy
background and is determined to build a business with the right ethics
and right values; in an attempt to give back to his family and to the
planet. “Let’s make our families future long, let’s make our Earth’s future
long, let’s make it, so that the tape never finishes off the roll.”
