Your next party could be a robot party

Robots could become commonplace in parties, according to service robot company servicerobots.com

According to the company’s CEO, the demand for service robots in events is escalating.

Tim Warrington, CEO of service robots, said: “When we initially launched the business we were mainly focused on supplying hotels and restaurants, but we have seen a huge demand from people who want to buy the robots and rent them out.

“We have now sold these robots in the USA, Australia, Europe and Nigeria for this very purpose.”

The huge demand has meant that the company, which won the coveted 2019 Artificial Intelligence Awards, has doubled in size over the last few months.

Tim and his team predict that robot hire will be the next big thing in the events industry because it’s a fresh look at what can be done in the space.

They believe that, while photo booths used to be the stable fun photo systems for events, these are likely to be overtaken with an easier, more fun, business of robots and robot photography.

Led by a team of engineers based in the UK, the business is making big dents in the AI industry following the launch of their first photography robot in April 2019.
