Shhh... Menopause Collective to Speak at Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE

The Shhh... Menopause Collective will be speaking at the Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE show in London on Thursday and Friday, June 2nd and 3rd, 2022.

The Shhh... Menopause Collective, a group of women who have launched an app and community dedicated to helping other women through the menopausal transition with education and support, will be exhibiting as well as hosting a presentation at Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE. This is a great opportunity for more black women to learn about the range of symptoms and signals the body provides during menopause and how the symptoms can be managed during menopause. The discussion on the day will include topics such as "Speaking to your GP about the menopause" and " Symptoms are happening now and how to ease them”

One of the founders of Shhh… Menopause Collective, Marva Williams will be speaking at this event on behalf of her organisation. She has a wealth of experience with menopausal symptoms in both herself and others through the work she does with natural remedies. Alongside Ms. Williams will be another powerful voice, Janelle Clarke, a qualified nurse at Imperial College Hospital, an NHS Governor, and part of the Equality and Diversity Inclusion. Together they will share how they were able to overcome their own struggles by getting help when needed, the three S’s: Signs, Symptoms, and Solutions of menopause, but most importantly they are now helping others to find new ways to invite diversity within health care settings, so everyone feels welcome no matter what.

Shhh...Menopause Collective App is a one-stop platform and community for anyone who's going through or has just come out of menopause. The app offers expert advice, recipes (including easy ways to cook), and videos about various fitness topics such as the importance of building strength through Pilates and other fun workouts that are tailored specifically to your needs because there isn't any other source like this on the market!

You'll also be able to read discussions from experts in their field about how they overcame challenges themselves while learning new skills along life’s way - all presented beautifully so it is easily accessible.
