SIDIS Academy - a Robust Solution for the T Level Qualifications
The rollout of the T levels is arguably one of the biggest shake-ups that post-16 education has ever witnessed and therefore, a robust response is required.
SIDIS Academy has developed a solution, a progressive, one-stop learning platform, developed to help providers manage the challenges in delivering T Level qualifications and Industry Placements.
In working closely with colleges, SIDIS Academy has understood the key challenges of rolling out this new programme and has consequently developed a customisable and multi-faceted platform to deliver a high quality, blended learning approach. It is the first of its kind to bring together the all-important triage of students, colleges, and employers to address the skills gaps in the labour market.
As the launch of the T Levels puts increased pressure on providers during this week’s enrolment process, SIDIS Academy offers students the ability to create their own account, activating the automated assignment of relevant content, based on the student’s T Level route and specialism. It is also able to manage classroom events, webinars, delivery of all online learning for each pre-populated T Level framework and empowers students to log their own work placement evidence. The (shared) learning library content is aligned specifically to employer occupational standards and has been carefully curated to develop users’ interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, and social behaviours. Employers identified these as critical for the future workforce.

Along the way, the college will not only benefit from the platform’s capability to generate comprehensive learner analytic reports, an OFSTED must, but also, a growing network of T Level providers and employers to share best practice and resources.
