Crew agency for the events industry highlights how hard work and dedication can pay off

Spartan Crew, the crew personnel supplier for the events industry, has revealed the story behind the growth of its business, as they are about to celebrate their second anniversary.

The trusted supplier of labour for live events has highlighted its rise from distinctly humble beginnings; based in the living rooms of co-founders Paz Brennan, and Ciaran Boylan, both of whom were live sound engineers. Ciaran was highly respected music and corporate engineer while Paz was off touring the world with acts such as Manowar and Ian Brown.

In an incredibly short space of time, Spartan Crew outgrew two offices and come to work with a wide variety of live events, now boasting a custom build office and training area dedicated to giving the bespoke training the crew need to satisfy Spartans highly demanding clients. Now with over 100 crew members on its books, the Deptford based company has international business commitments, having sent events professionals all over the UK and Europe.

The demand for Spartan Crew's roster of trained workers was highlighted with their allocation of a 45-strong crew to an event held by timeless shoe brand Doc Martins, while brewer Carlsberg, Electronic Arts, with the launch of FIFA 19, are just some of the big-name corporate clients which they have managed to attract.

Spartan Crew has come to be recognised as a leader in supplying manpower to event organisers for tasks such as loading / unloading trucks, rigging equipment all with heath and safety being paramount, but the company is keen to stress that the key to success has been its unwavering dedication.

Paz Brennan, co-owner of Spartan Crew, said: "Two years have gone by in a flash, and it is almost hard to believe that what was a home business is now supplying clients over Europe. We think our rapid growth is a testament to the scrupulous recruitment policies which we have in place, implementation of our core values, our commitment to achieving customer satisfaction, and the strength of the live events industry as a whole."
