Stagecoach Performing Arts launches online platform for students worldwide

Stagecoach Performing Arts has launched a new consumer platform, housing a vast variety of virtual learning resources that students can access from the safety of their own homes, wherever they are in the world. The brand-new website, stagecoachathome.com, offers new and existing students an Online Learning Studio, home to over 100 lessons and videos.

The site has been created to support existing franchisees, by providing a resource that families can access online during the ongoing lockdown restrictions in place around the world. Once users have paid the monthly subscription fee, students have unlimited access to a library of full-length pre-recorded lessons, masterclasses and shorter activities, which they can work through at their own pace. New content is added weekly, encouraging repeat sign-ups from new and existing students. There’s also a seven-day free trial that students can take advantage of before signing up for a full month.

Franchisees are encouraged to share the programme via their own social media channels, offering engaging and quality content that appeals to children aged four and above. All video content is categorised depending on whether it is a dance, singing or drama session. A selection of the sessions is available free of charge - users can then upgrade to the paid-for membership to access the full collection of classes.

Andrew Walters, Director of International Business Development, explained that this new initiative is part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to support their existing franchisees in Canada, Germany, Malta, Spain, Gibraltar, Australia, and South Africa.

“All of our international franchisees have been affected, in some way, by the COVID-19 pandemic, as our global lessons have been postponed since late March. This new platform provides our international franchisees with a tool for engaging with students, present and future, with a range of at-home educational resources. We’re extremely committed to supporting all of our franchisees through this uncertain time with plans to maintain and update the #stagecoachathome resource, even after the lockdown restrictions are lifted.”

The full portal of lessons is now live, via the new website: www.stagecoachathome.com

About Stagecoach Performing Arts

About Stagecoach Performing Arts: Over the years we have seen more than one million students unlock their potential, which is something they will value for their whole life. At Stagecoach we teach our students so much more than how to sing, dance and act. We help them blossom into well-rounded individuals, ready to embrace life and all its opportunities. With nearly 30 years’ experience in teaching the performing arts, we understand how to get the best out of our young performers. We delight in seeing our students have fun, make friends, learn new skills and discover hidden talents. We encourage them to take ‘safe risks’ through rehearsals and performance, which brings out a willingness to take on new challenges. None of us know what the future holds, which is why it’s so important for today’s children to be resilient, brave and self-assured. Furthermore you can rest assured that your child is in safe hands as we adhere to the strictest child safety policies. About joining Stagecoach as a franchisee: With our 30th birthday in 2018, the Stagecoach model has been proven and refined to become one of the UK’s leading performing arts opportunities. Franchisees build a team of equally passionate and enthusiastic teachers, qualified to bring out the very best in their students. Stagecoach schools provide a thriving, nurturing and supportive environment for creative learning. That’s just one of the reasons why 40,000 children every week flock to classes nationwide. Today, a network of more than 300 franchisees operate over 680 schools offering 1,780 classes in eight countries. Through an exciting and varied framework of teaching and development, franchisees have helped to unlock the potential of more than one million students since it opened in 1988.
