Birmingham based start-up on a mission to help budding entrepreneurs
In August 2020, two entrepreneurs purchased Start.Biz (National Business Register Group Limited), with a view to build on the brand protection specialists’ success and 35-year reputation.
Their vision has been to create an invaluable resource for, and a national community of SMEs centred around a new website launched on the first anniversary of acquiring the business. The website is packed with guides, features and articles created with their expert partners who operate across a range of professional services.
Start.biz aims to make starting, running or growing a business simpler and more efficient. Their purpose is to enable each business owner to focus on what they do best and use Start.biz to inform and guide them towards a range of professional services that are essential to the running and success of their enterprise.
How does it work?
Start.biz have created three tailored guides focussed on providing support to businesses at the different stages of their journey:
• ‘Start Now’ is aimed at pre-start up's and provides the perfect checklist ensuring a business is compliant, protected and set-up for success.
• ‘Start Running’ is the go-to guide for newly established businesses. This focusses on essential services such as accountancy, insurance and raising finance.
• ‘Start Growing’ targets established businesses who want to take their company to the next level by working smarter and utilising industry experts to help their business evolve.
Further guidance is found on the service pages which provide the fundamental basics of each service offered, along with signposts to partners, each selected for their expertise and customer led approach.
Then, the Information Hub contains in-depth, topical and thought-provoking content, which addresses a wide range of business subjects. This will also contain case studies and inspirational success stories, celebrating independent businesses from a variety of sectors.
