Stirling Distillery Donate All Profits Of Charity Gin During Mental Health Awareness Month

Stirling Distillery have announced that all profits from their Gin Blue Line gin will be donated to mental health charity PTSD999 during the month of May - Mental Health Awareness month. PTSD999 provide vital support for those serving, or who had served, within the emergency services living with post-traumatic stress.

Stirling’s Gin Blue Line gin was created when distillery owner Cameron – a former police officer in the Metropolitan Police - was asked to create a product that would help raise awareness and funds for those within the emergency services suffering from PTSD. With 20% of profits going to mental health charities, the gin has raised over £5000 since its launch in November 2021.

The distillery partnered with PTSD999 in 2022 to part-fund their PTSD awareness short film Broken Glass: A Fragile Mind and have continued to support them with the money raised by Gin Blue Line.

Made with carefully selected botanicals including forget-me-nots, Scottish heather, sage and kaffir lime leaves, Gin Blue Line should be served with a premium tonic and garnished with lemon or lime to accentuate the spicy, floral and sweet notes.

PTSD999 has been operating as a non-for profit social enterprise since its formation and is run on a 100% volunteer basis. They are committed to raising awareness of PTSD within the emergency services and helping break the stigma associated with it.

PTSD can be successfully treated, even when it develops many years after a traumatic event if you speak up and get the right support. PTSD999 can be contacted via email: support@ptsd999.org.uk or telephone: 07957252955.

Stirling Distillery is well known for their fundraising initiatives. They celebrate the rich history and folklore of the famous Scottish city through their product range.

About Stirling Distillery

Stirling Distillery We wanted to bring something unique to the ever growing world of Scottish Gin. In our recipe we feel we have achieved that goal. The result is a spirit with a big nose and very satisfying profile, whether neat or with a premium tonic of your choice. Our core gin is infused with hand picked Stirlingshire nettles, basil, lemon and orange peel, juniper and angelica root. This forms the base to our other products, all distilled at Stirling Distillery. As a result, our nearly navy strength Battle Strength Gin packs a mighty punch, while the Folklore Collection uses local fruits and herbs to create our range of gin liqueurs. Our entire range is inspired by the mythologies and history surrounding Stirlingshire and its beautiful castle. In 2019 we opened our doors at the foot of Stirling Castle. We are the first gin distillery in the beautiful city of Stirling and are proud to use local ingredients to create our outstanding Scottish spirits.
