Cut the cabling catastrophes, says expert on International Stress Awareness Day

Synergy 15 - the UK's network cabling and infrastructure specialists who are trusted installers of various equipment and hardware - has tried to save the world a serious headache ahead of International Stress Awareness Day.

International Stress Awareness Day, which will be marked around the world on Wednesday, 7th November, tackles the very serious problem of stress and mental health issues - caused by factors such as emotional and physical exhaustion and work situations. In 2018, the theme of International Stress Awareness Day is ‘Does Hi-Tech cause Hi-Stress?', examining the effect of a modern day lifestyle which is full of automation, computers and the internet.

Synergy 15 has expressed its determination to highlight the hassle and stress which can be caused by inadequately designed commercial or construction projects, which do not take into account cabling and networking. Quite often, Synergy 15 says this mistake can mean that remedial work needs to be performed on site to ensure that the necessary hardware can be installed. The result is a time and money drain which can cause unwanted stress for property owners.

Martin Ilett, Director of Synergy 15 Ltd, said: "We believe that some of the stress which we encounter in every day life can be eliminated with the right planning. As International Stress Awareness Day has an electronic theme this year, we would like to throw a spotlight on the unnecessary hassle which is caused by designers and architects who do not factor in the need for cabling infrastructure.
