Creating the leaders and entrepreneurs of the future: brand-new digital leadership course launches in Jersey

The Digital Leadership Programme is a two-year degree-equivalent course, which can be studied full-time or part-time in Jersey, at the state-of-the-art Digital Jersey Academy.

The new programme combats the problem with traditional degrees struggling to keep up with the fast-paced change of the digital world. In addition to attending lectures led by industry experts, students can expect to a large part of the course on real-world projects set by global companies and brands, as part of a programme designed to help them build a resume that will ensure their employability as graduates.

Full-time students will finish the programme with four Level 6 (degree-equivalent) qualifications and in-depth knowledge on tech, digital marketing, design, media production and business management subjects. The students also benefit from learning transferrable skills like resilience, project management and presentation skills.

The course will be supported with a brand-new Academy building and advanced facilities, including multiple lecture rooms, an iMac studio, a podcast studio and a video production stage allowing students access to up-to-date and advanced equipment and technology. The students will also have access to the Digital Jersey Hub, a coworking space situated next-door to the academy. This will provide opportunities to network with local tech start-ups and industry leaders, enabling students to build a professional network during their studies.
