'More Than Just a Bar'

The Stoneworks' identity is grounded in being ‘more than just a bar’. The incredibly popular watering hole is more of an ‘experience’ than your straightforward pub, and it’s fast gaining a reputation as the best place in Peterborough for a night out.

Dedicated to sourcing the best craft beer, wines, spirits and mixers from around the world, The Stoneworks has to be one of the most pioneering bars in the UK. Drinkers can enjoy a walk-in fridge where beer is chilled to a perfect 4°C at all times, and there are ‘Scotch Experiences’, an in-house mixologist, and a range of five classic and five modern cocktails to be sampled.

Owner Sean Page says: “We’re a local bar with a truly international mentality, aiming to bring our guests the finest alcohol from around the world. There are no standard products on offer here and we always say that ‘when it’s gone, it’s gone’, which means no two visits will ever be the same.

“We want to do things differently and make this more of an experience than your average trip down the pub. Because of our super walk-in fridge, our beer tastes as fresh as the day it left the brewery. The Stoneworks is all about quality over quantity and giving our customers an educational world tour when it comes to drinks. We are more than just a bar.”

The staff at The Stoneworks are all extremely knowledgeable when it comes to drinks, and there’s a real sense of community which cannot be staged. With new spirits, wines, beers and ciders always on the cards, few places can match The Stoneworks when it comes to the sheer diversity and quality of the produce on offer.

About The Stoneworks Bar

A Peterborough based bar focusing on quality over quantity. Owned by Sean and Steve, the bar was created as a refuge from poorly kept beer. We are passionate about not only selling the best beer the UK has to offer, but also keeping the beer in the best way possible. This means we do things differently to other craft beer bars, which includes only purchasing "cold chained" beer, as well as an in-house 4 degree cold store. We have many connections in the craft beer world, including direct links to brewers, wholesalers and customers. We are happy to talk about anything Bar/Beer/Spirited related. Many people are jumping on the Craft Beer wagon, not caring about its storage / upkeep, we would be happy to provide interviews/content on not only why these sort of things matter, but also the state of the industry as a whole.
