The Workers Club release new 'Made in England' Collection
The Workers Club, an Oxfordshire-based menswear brand focused on creating a unified collection of seasonless garments, has announced the release of its new collection: Made in England.
Exactly as its name suggests, this menswear fashion line is crafted using English cotton twill, and produced by some of the finest British makers. Adam and Charlotte Cameron, founders of The Workers Club, are keen to develop close relationships with each factory they partner with, and in their quest for perfection, they believe provenance is key.
They said: "We believe great things start from conversations, which means we’re heavily involved in every step of the manufacturing process from fit and fabric choices to those all-important final touches. Made for like-minded souls, we hope our customers will get behind and support Made in England."
A recent addition to the brand's community of makers is a new casual manufacturer located in the North West of England. It ticks all the boxes: attainable pricing, premium quality and a shared passion for the craft.
Items in the 'Made in England' collection include pleat front chinos and oversized cotton shirt jackets. The chinos are imbued with the brand's signature contemporary aesthetic, while the 'shacket' creates a cool silhouette when worn over t-shirts or even alone. In the near future, there are plans to add over-the-head windbreakers and casual blazers to the collection.
The Workers Club are renowned for their Merino wool socks, but new for SS19 is their Varsity Sport Sock, which is made in a cotton blend. Based on previous customer reviews ("I love these socks", "These are absolute beauties. I will be sure to buy some more in those great colours!"), the team are hoping the new collection will be a success.
