Micro Is Magic Show for Altrincham & Newcastle

The next two dates for the Micro is Magic Show are close to sellouts in Altrincham on 16th April and Newcastle on 14th May. The Altrincham event is hosted by the Forum of Private Business, with Paul Uppal, the Small Business Commissioner, guesting, and the Newcastle event is a feature of Newcastle Start-Up Week.

It will be the third consecutive year Tony Robinson OBE, the Micro Business Champion, has performed his controversial and inspirational show at Newcastle Start-Up Week which is on course to have over 1000 delegates.

The full title of the talk, which has been on tour for two years at business conferences, trade shows, networking events and in theatres, is; 'Micro is Beautiful - business as if people cared' which is a tribute to EF Schumacher's 'Small is Beautiful - economics as if people mattered'. Robinson demonstrates a better way than the American Way of starting and running your own business. The 'American Way' is much loved by UK politicians, academics, business media and self-help gurus but Robinson claims it is not the best way for the many.

Robinson is the founder and co-founder of national business support organisations and movements including the annual #MicroBizMatters Day. He has been campaigning, with such as#PayIn30Days, to make life better for the UK's 5.5 million micro-business (0-9 employees) owners, for over 20 years.
