Home health check service set to save lives

Unlimited Wellbeing are to offer affordable private health assessments to clients in the comfort and privacy of their own homes from June, with Nottingham, Derby, Stamford and Peterborough among the first towns and cities to benefit as the service is rolled out across the UK. Unlimited Wellbeing will offer a comprehensive 30 point health assessment for just £99.99 which includes a full cholesterol breakdown, lung function tests. diabetes check and a full cardiovascular disease risk rating along with a healthy heart age score. Customers can book online at a time that suits them with evening and weekend appointments also available. Couples can also benefit by booking together for just £149.99 saving them £50.
"Remaining fit and healthy shouldn't depend on whether or not you can afford to take time off work," says Sanjiv, who is also keen to stress the importance of providing a quality service at a price that people can afford.
"The private health assessment market is divided into two at the moment," explains Sanjiv. "On one hand you have large organisations charging hundreds of pounds for you to have your health check carried out in expensive clinics and at the other end there are companies offering budget services with pop up clinics in hotel rooms which are being carried out by people with little or no medical training. We don't believe either of those scenarios are acceptable when it comes to looking after our health, which is why we set out to create an entirely different proposition that is tailored towards the needs of the customer rather than simply to generate huge profits for the provider."
