UPMARKET mobile wellness and beauty app USPAAH secures new round of funding and a major partnership deal to target future growth.

USPAAH launched in London in 2016 operating across zones 1-6 and providing a range of beauty and wellness services from massage, manicures, facials, spray tans and much more.

USPAAH’s highly trained professionals can deliver treatments direct to a client’s home, hotel or office, all via a mobile app or online, in as little as an hour.

Having already seen sales increase more than 800% in the last 3 years, founder and CEO Iglika Ghouse is now focusing on continued expansion in the capital.

Their latest crowdfunding drive saw USPAAH smash its target of £100K and raise close to £200K from over 80 investors.

What’s more, they’ve also partnered with leading UK domestic services provider Fantastic Services via an ‘Equity for Services’ investment worth an additional £150K.

Ghouse says the focus of the raise was to implement a business plan that spans the next 18-24 months focussing on tech and marketing.

She adds: “We’re delighted to have achieved, and surpassed, our crowdfunding target.

“And we’re now looking to build on the success we’ve already delivered.

“Since the inception of USPAAH, we’ve experienced total accumulated revenue growth of 841% and completed jobs growth of 933%.

“We’ve identified a number of further growth opportunities in adding more wellness services to our platform, as we continue to increase our market share in London.”

Ghouse says the secret to their success is in the attention to detail, throughout the 15 different services they offer. All of USPAAH’s ‘sparistas’ (yes, a patented term) undergo thorough training to keep standards high while clients also get consistency in the products the professionals use during the booking.

Ghouse adds: “We are truly a one stop shop for all of our clients’ needs compared to competitors who only offer massages, or who only offer manicures.

“We target men and women and we mandate the products that our sparistas use, so that every time a client makes a booking they know exactly what products will be used.

“And with a team of more than 200 sparistas, we’re available within two hours, and within most areas of central London.”

Marketed as “Your Spa At Home™”, the key demographic is men and women aged between 25 and 45, working, living or visiting central London.

Former investment banker Ghouse, originally from Bulgaria, reveals: “Because we offer a premium product, we enjoy high repeat business, with 22 per cent of our customers booking treatments on a regular basis.

“Our recruitment process is also rigorous. We take on less than 40 per cent of the people who apply to us simply because our standards are high.”

USPAAH also has a Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) accredited Academy, which means its licensed to offer courses to ‘upskill’ staff on particular treatments.

The firm has already enjoyed a previous round of crowdfunding, having successfully raised £260,000 in from over 140 investors in October 2016.

Since that time, USPAAH has delivered more than 10,000 massage, nail and beauty treatments, while the app has been downloaded more than 20,000 times.

Ghouse says: “Clients don't need to book far in advance, travel to a salon, or have cash on-hand.

“With USPAAH they can get a treatment in an hour within central London, or book up to three weeks in advance.

Our therapists love the app as they don't have to search for their own customers, they get to choose their working hours, and earn 3 to 4 times more than what they could in a salon”.
