Use Clean Air Day to think about the environment, says East Anglia tree surgeon

A firm providing tree services including cutting, felling and stump removal plus garden clearance and hedge maintenance is urging people to give some thought to the environment following today’s Clean Air Day.

Family-run Walton’s Tree Services covers Essex and Suffolk, as well as parts of east London, and has been running for the last three years. During this time, it has expanded from being run by owner Alexander Walton to incorporating a four-strong team.

It’s now looking to increase its portfolio of commercial work, including the maintenance of green land around developments, and site clearances.

Walton says: “I couldn’t be more pleased with the way the business has taken off. I’ve always considered environmental issues to be extremely important, as part of our generally ethical approach to things like fair, honest pricing and taking health and safety seriously. And our services also include waste removal and recycling, giving customers one less thing to worry about.”

“Clean Air Day offers the perfect chance to think about the environment, and perhaps make one change in your life, whether that’s a cleaner transport choice or the way you manage your garden, making it a better place.”

Air pollution is already a genuine threat to human health. Clean Air Day gives ideas for improving air quality and the simple steps everyone can take towards enjoying a better environment. It’s also an opportunity to learn more about the issues involved and to share information with others.

The campaign’s website offers ideas, facts and fee resources.
