Wasteland Travel celebrate their rebrand with snowsport game
"Wasteland Travel, a leading Gen-Z ski, travel and events company, has developed an exciting snowsports mobile game that offers students the chance to win a wide range of prizes to celebrate its new brand launch.
The company has rebranded as Wasteland Travel to reflect its youthful and rebellious culture, and having emerged from the global COVID-19 pandemic, Wasteland Travel wanted to use the opportunity of their rebranding to give something back to their audience. To achieve this, the team developed a snowsports mobile game, Wasteland Wipeout, modelled on the cult 90’s hit, Snake.
Every week, students who play Wasteland Wipeout have the opportunity to win lots of great ski-related prizes, including a free ski holiday. There are also larger prizes to be won by the snowsports organisations at the Universities taking part, such as bar tabs and an exclusive all-expenses-paid event night.
The night will be hosted by WE Events, part of the Wasteland Travel group. WE Events bring parties to the mountains and create unique experiences for students on ski holidays. Another area of the Wasteland Travel collective, WhiteRoad, is the trusted winter holiday provider for small groups of friends, families and businesses.

Prior to their rebrand, Wasteland Travel has taken over 250,000 students away on hundreds of ski trips. Ru recalled, “we've been through everything, from clients kicking the walls down between apartments, to giving away cars to students and flying a massive helium blimp through London.”
The company began 27 years ago when their founder, Ted, discovered a skill for organising ski trips for his friends at university. To facilitate growth, Ted partnered with Ru, and a successful partnership was born.
