New pop-up Chirstmas party venue launches in Southwark for group experiences

After experiencing phenomenal growth during the height of the pandemic in winter 2020, Columbia Creative is taking another leap forward with its corporate Christmas party experiences this December. They will be taking over a railway arch in Southwark to host Christmas wreath-making experiences for groups of up to 60 people, to meet the growing demand for groups seeking something a little bit different in London this year.

The scale of the wreath-making craze in 2020 saw Columbia Creative reach full capacity by mid-November as well as being featured in national and international press. After running the entire operation virtually last year, they are thrilled to be back in person this Christmas with full catering options available for a complete Christmas party experience.

In the eight years that the business has been established, they have seen wreath-making go from a niche activity frequented mainly by serious craft enthusiasts to a mainstream festive event enjoyed annually by a broad demographic of guests. A guest attending a virtual tutorial last year declared 'wreath-making the new banana bread baking for lockdown 3'.

Jo Woodward founded Columbia Creative in 2013. A passion for nature and sustainability led her towards a modern and rustic aesthetic that remains at the heart of the brand today.
With an operational and logistical background, she has been able to increase the capacity of the business without compromising on quality.
Christmas is now the year-round focus and foliage is never far from her mind!
