The Sanguine Writing House Seeks Pantomime Talent In Nationwide Search

23rd December 2020

Today The Sanguine Writing House has placed a listing in The Stage Newspaper asking for pantomime veterans to get in touch.

Production manager Pipolai Nomzki is hoping to attract the “weird and wonderful” to take part in his company’s first show entitled Donald Where’s Your Troosers?

Pantomime has been missing from theatres throughout the country this year and for the first time the whole drama will take place on-line. So TSWH is looking for characters who can deliver in this new format.

Pipolai said:

“We are looking at casting big characters that can hold the attention for a group of people who are attending and participating via their computer screens.”

The Sanguine Writing House is a collective of writers, some of whom are engaging for the first time with theatre, and currently wish to remain anonymous. They will be named in time.

Pipolai added:

"With Theatres currently dark, we are hoping to put some of the spirit of Pantomime back into Christmas."

TSWH is managed on-line from Manchester and Edinburgh and is taking bookings through Christmas, New Year and January and further information can be found at: https://www.tswh.co.uk/

At this challenging time a percentage of sales will be donated to the charities MIND, Hospitality Action and The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice

About THE SANGUINE WRITING HOUSE

This is an on-line interactive game which comes in a variety of mystery tales. It has been created as a response to the absence of works Christmas parties this year. It will go forward into 2021 to cater as a substitute for other social gatherings. In the first instance we have launched a pantomime. Participants will play a character in the game and look to find the culprit who pinched Donald's trousers. Silly but fun which is something we all need in these difficult times. Game play is seen as an effective treatment of mental health issues caused by isolation and we are working with MIND to make a contribution to mental well-being.
