Radically Digital's CEO becomes a finalist in the 2021 Great British Entrepreneur Awards

Radically Digital's CEO, Oshobugie "Bobby" Idogho, has recently earned a place as a finalist in the upcoming 2021 Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards were set up to put a spotlight on Britain's young entrepreneurs to watch for and Idogho is one of 8 finalists nominated for 'Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year'.

The young CEO founded Radically Digital at age 25, two weeks after quitting his steady job with the goal to create a company that would be profitable from inception without requiring any external or founder funding.

"I was becoming complacent with the status quo," Idogho revealed. "Unless I took a leap of faith, I would never achieve my dream of building a company representing my ideals. I quit my job the next week with nothing concrete lined up."

Idogho, along with the brand's co-founder, Oliver Smit, decided to use his lean growth framework to experiment and focus on creating an employee-owned digital consultancy firm that works alongside scale-ups and start-ups to help them design and engineer innovative digital products.

The brand is growing rapidly year on year and now has 40 members of staff. Radically Digital is on track to hit 75 employees by the end of 2021 with no external funding and 3.5x profit growth.

Idogho is Nigerian-Irish and believes that Radically Digital's diversity at the top has allowed the brand to hire and recruit the best possible workforce. Like many other black British businesses, Radically Digital has a diverse panel of assessors to remove all potential bias, and half of its team of staff are BAME employees.
