About Blossoms Syrup Ltd
I like to compare my mission to what Fever Tree did to Schweppes 10 years ago in the tonic sector ie knocked it off its monopoly with a quality offering.
Founded in 2010, Blossoms Syrup is a unique British producer of premium, natural, most intense and versatile syrups. I launched it to supply the HoReCa and I still single managed the business. I supply Michelin Star restaurants and bars and other producers too. I had couple of flavours in M&S but now they are mainly sold by farm shops and delis and online retailers. I also exported the syrups to Europe. I thought I could grow the business organically and on my own. As a middle aged woman and mumpreneur, I now realise that I can not grow the business on my own and have started a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. This is a new experience for me and I am not finding this easy. I want to raise capital to be able to recruit mainly women that want to return to work but do not have faith in themselves. I am trying to inspire the investors but it is hard to make people believe in the potential of your brand. My syrups have won many awards for its quality. I have personally invested money in years in my business and want to make Blossoms Syrup the reference brand in its sector.
