Get on board for National Stress Awareness Day, says London beauty business

Beauty treatment business House Cats has brought its American-style brand to Britain, with bases in Fulham and Teddington, south-west London. Now it’s urging customers and others to make time for themselves and others this autumn on National Stress Awareness Day.

Organised by mental health charity Mind, the event takes place on the first Wednesday in November, which this year falls on November 6th. The occasion is a chance for people to think about their wellbeing, and find support on advice or stress management where necessary.

House Cats, which offers customers the chance to relax and socialise as they have their beauty treatments, is encouraging everyone to join in the conversation – literally!

Angel Zagorov, co-owner with business partner Kameliya Paneva, says: “While stress is an ordinary part of life for most of us, there are times when it can become more serious and overwhelming, and that’s where help and support can be invaluable.

“At House Cats, we’re not just about nail and hair treatments, lovely though we think ours are! In the US, women often have a drink with friends while getting their hair or nails done. We’ve brought that idea to the UK.

“So come in, have a chat and enjoy a glass of prosecco from the bar or a cuppa on us, and a natter with your mates as you unwind and destress. You’ll feel and look so much better afterwards.”

Treatments available include pedicures, pedicures and make-up from leading brands, blow-dries and quick-fix hair solutions.
