Marshall and Brown releases new Rum Connoisseur hamper for Christmas 2022

Dating back to the 17th century, when it originated in the Caribbean and was, famously, the fuel of pirates, rum is a centuries-old favourite drink, crafted from sugar cane or molasses. The inspiration behind Marshall and Brown came from Dr Carlton Brown’s mother, who is 97, and his mother-in-law. The company is named after these two wonderful matriarchs – Olive Brown and Eugenia Marshall – who were both born on the beautiful island of Jamaica. They were both amazing cooks and on Sundays, one of their family traditions was to have a dish that had been marinated or seasoned with Jerk seasoning.
