Rebecca Morter, a prominent figure in the realms of retail innovation, fashion and sustainability, brings her extensive expertise and fervour for ethical fashion to her role as a distinguished judge. Her involvement underscores LDC's commitment to nurturing and supporting emerging talents who prioritise sustainability and responsible practices. As a judge, Rebecca Morter will assess the submissions based on their environmental impact, innovative use of materials, and overall sustainability efforts, plus give valuable advice on the practicalities of executing a pop-up store from the ground up.

The competition will reach its climax in October when the winners will be unveiled. Two categories of winners will emerge:

The competition finalists, including Fruu Cosmetics, seventy + mochi, Glaize, Known Source, Maeving Electric Motorcycles, The Seam, Trace Collective, and Yard + Parish, will pitch their innovative concepts to the panel of expert judges. These finalists have been shortlisted from a highly competitive pool due to their exceptional contributions to responsible living and sustainable consumption.

Overall Winner: The recipient of the grand prize, valued at a staggering £400,000, which includes the opportunity to operate a pop-up shop or kiosk for up to one year in Westfield London or Stratford.

People's Choice Winner: Determined by public votes on the Westfield Grand Prix website, this winner will be prominently featured as a highlight attraction at the 2024 Westfield Good Festival. The festival celebrates circularity and sustainable consumption, combining guest experiences, thought leadership conversations, and other activations with retailers, brand partners, NGOs, and local community groups.
