Can Getting Out of Town Reinvigorate Your Love Life?

London-based dating events experts My Friend Charlie have partnered with some of the best relationship coaches in the industry to offer a unique countryside getaway, just for singles.

With the popularity of dating apps plateauing, the Staycation is a new offline concept that gets people out of the city to enjoy a weekend away at a rural retreat - and it’s as much about learning how to navigate the modern dating world as it is to do with meeting other like minded singles.

“Day in, day out I meet singles who can’t understand the lack of empathy people seem to have for each other when they go online. They're experiencing dating burnout; they’re bored of swiping and relying on an algorithm to help them find the right match, and they want the fun to be put back into the dating process - that's where the Staycation comes in,” explains relationship expert Sarah Louise Ryan, dating coach.

However, this is not your typical weekend away. Aimed at those in need of a digital detox, the Staycation combines a weekend of activities, great food and expert dating insights from dating and relationship experts. The itinerary contains everything from alpaca-walking to dating coaching sessions, so that guests can come away feeling confident about their abilities when it comes to modern dating.

“We wanted to think outside the box when it came to putting on this weekend,” says Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Spokes, founder of My Friend Charlie. “We want singles get out of their regular environment and open themselves up to something different. These changes can really help gain a different perspective on dating and lead to more successful connections.”

Kenny Mammarella-D'Cruz, dating expert and ‘Man-Whisperer’ elaborates: “The combination of activities that the Staycation offers means that guests can enjoy the balance of ‘doing together’ and ‘being together’, creating space for real connection with themselves and each other.”

So, if like many other singles, you’re bored of Bumble or sick of swiping on Tinder, there’s a new way to meet like-minded, busy professionals in real life - with the Staycation.

The Staycation takes place from Friday 28th - Sunday 30th June 2019 in Buckinghamshire. Book tickets and get more information: http://bit.ly/2JSQ6yU
