New platform for creative online events has just launched!
Pedddle, a service that represents UK independent markets, is launching an online event platform for creatives to keep businesses trading during lockdown and beyond.
The company promotes and publicises markets and traders across the country, keeping small businesses in the public eye, but the pandemic has forced many to cease trading.
Pedddle was already leading the way with virtual trading prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, holding online selling events when bad weather struck.
The company was hosting events of up to 600 stalls with its Creative Collaboration Market, but is now taking this a step further with the creation of Tresstle in the wake of the pandemic.
With the new platform, currently in a soft phase launch, members of the creative community will benefit from live streaming to showcase their wares.
A Pedddle spokesperson said: “For many years, the market shopping experience had been solely at in-person markets with little ability to connect virtually with the stallholders they meet. "
"Since Covid-19, the need for creative businesses to have more presence online has become a necessity. The evolution to create effective hybrid businesses, running successfully on and offline, has begun."

The existing Pedddle site serves predominantly as a directory for physical events, and Tresstle was born from this to give creative online events the space to flourish.
Tresstle.com will offer live streaming and selling along with videos introducing members of the creative community.
