Care Safe Mobility & My Fashion Craft to host Bengal’s Pride Awards 2022

Care Safe Mobility and My Fashion Craft have been announced as the co-hosts of this year's Bengal’s Pride Awards, which will take place on 20 July.

The community awards aim to celebrate the success of BAME and Bengali people, whose rich culture has seen an incredible revival in the 20th century. From incredible short stories to captivating poetry, Bengali literature and arts have been at the forefront of this resurgence. The Bengal’s Pride Awards 2022 looks to continue this trend by celebrating the brightest and most talented Bengali creatives around the world today.

With over 300,000 Bengalis living in the UK, and over 300 million worldwide, it’s no wonder that the Bengal’s Pride Awards draws in massive crowds. The ceremony has been attended by prominent business leaders, politicians, academics and high-net-worth individuals from across the globe. It’s the perfect platform to celebrate all things Bengali - and the sponsors receive a large ROI from the event, too.

It’s clearly an important event for the Bengali people, but it’s also closely aligned with India and the UK. Samit Biswas, the CEO of Care Safe Mobility, which is co-hosting the awards ceremony, said: “These awards are designed to recognise the contributions made by people from Bangladesh and India to both the UK and the global economy. We're delighted to also announce an award in honour of Sir David Amass, who was a fantastic chairman."

With over 50% of the UK's Bengalis living in London, the city is a prime location to host the awards ceremony. It looks to be a passionate, endearing event that gives back to the community in more ways than one. The awards are decided by an esteemed panel of high-profile judges that vote independently to ensure that the awards are fair.

Anna Firth, MP for Southend West, commented: "I was honoured to be elected as Chair for such a fabulous initiative. Creating an award in memory of Sir David Amass is a fabulous idea for the community of Southend and a brilliant initiative for the new soon-to-be city. It's certainly a fitting tribute."

Mr Rajesh Devarapu, Director of Language Interpreters Ltd who is a sponsor has this to say "People are drawn together by language, culture, and identity. The Bengali community has a strong language and cultural heritage, that compliments what Language Interpreters Ltd provides.

We assist with Interpretation, Translation, and Transcription services for all industries, including private individuals, by removing any language barrier for communication. Language Interpreters Ltd are excited to sponsor The Bengal Pride Awards 2022”

Notes to Editors

These Awards are truly global and we are getting nominations from all over the World, except our local UK Bengali and other communities. We need to reach out to these communities, so if you can help us to reach out to the Bengali community and get their works recognised in the UK Parliament by the British Ministers and MPs.
