EISA hosts ‘Ready, Steady Grow!’ event in Manchester on 4th October

The Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) is excited to announce their 5th "Ready, Steady Grow!" event, taking place in Manchester at 4pm on the 4th of October at the KPMG offices, 1 St Peter's Square. The free-to-attend event will bring together investors, entrepreneurs, and advisers to discuss investment opportunities and drive growth.

"Ready, Steady Grow!" is a series of 10 events hosted by EISA with the aim of helping founders, investors, and advisers understand and engage with the SEIS (Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme) and the EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme). Both are government initiatives designed to foster and promote investment in startups. The events offer support to entrepreneurs across the UK’s regions and devolved nations, ensuring they have the necessary information to secure the vital investments that will allow them to grow and scale their businesses.

“Ready, Steady Grow!” events are comprised of a technical session and a networking reception. During the technical session, expert speakers provide insights into investment trends and share entrepreneurial success stories. The networking reception offers participants the opportunity to connect with experienced investors, industry experts, and entrepreneurs, creating avenues for new investment and facilitating invaluable connections.

“Manchester is a really exciting place to be right now, with a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem and lots to offer. For the second year in a row, we’re delighted to be partnering with KPMG to provide a CPD qualifying seminar, as well as a fantastic reception and opportunity for entrepreneurs to find support and guidance around securing investment for their startup," explained Christiana Stewart-Lockhart, Director General of EISA.

The next “Ready, Steady Grow!” events after Manchester will run at the locations and dates below:

● Tuesday, 10th October: Leeds

● Wednesday, 11th October: Cambridge
