EISA to Host "Ready, Steady Grow!" Event in Cambridge on October 11th

The Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) is excited to announce their 7th "Ready, Steady Grow!" event, taking place in Cambridge at the law offices of Mills and Reeve, Botanic House,100 Hills Road at 4pm on 11th October. The free-to-attend event will bring together investors, entrepreneurs, and advisers to discuss investment opportunities and drive growth.

"Ready, Steady Grow!" is a series of 10 events hosted by EISA with the aim of helping founders, investors, and advisers understand and engage with the SEIS (Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme) and the EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme). Both are government initiatives designed to foster and promote investment in startups. The events offer support to entrepreneurs across the UK’s regions and devolved nations, ensuring they have the necessary information to secure the vital investment that will enable them to grow and scale their businesses.

Christiana Stewart-Lockhart, Director General of the EISA, expressed her excitement saying, "Cambridge has a thriving entrepreneurial community with a fantastic ecosystem. The 'Ready, Steady Grow!' event provides an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to gain insights on how to access valuable support and resources that are crucial for scaling their businesses.”

“Ready, Steady Grow!” events consist of a technical session and a networking reception. The technical session, which is a CPD qualifying seminar, has expert speakers providing insights into investment trends and sharing entrepreneurial success stories. The networking reception offers participants the opportunity to connect with experienced investors, industry experts, and entrepreneurs. It is a great way of opening avenues for new investment and facilitating invaluable connections.
