The Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) Announces Next 'Ready, Steady Grow!' Event in Birmingham on 20th September

After the resounding success of the Edinburgh 'Ready, Steady Grow!' event on the 29th of August, The Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) is thrilled to announce its next event as part of the national series, this time taking place in Birmingham on September 20th.

The free-to-attend event will take place at KPMG, One Snowhill Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6GH, and will bring together small businesses, investors, IFAs, entrepreneurs, and business advisers. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights from industry experts in the SME sector.

Christiana Stewart-Lockhart, Director General of the EISA says "With these events, the EISA wants to ensure SMEs are well-informed about accessing the necessary investment to grow and scale their businesses. The Edinburgh session was fantastic and, with an excellent line of speakers, we expect the Birmingham event to be equally successful.”

'Ready, Steady Grow!' is a series of events designed to extend support to entrepreneurs across the UK's devolved nations and regions outside of London. The events are divided into two parts, a technical session and a networking reception. During the technical session, expert speakers provide insights into investment trends and entrepreneurial success stories. Additionally, during the networking reception, participants have the opportunity to connect with experienced investors, industry experts and entrepreneurs, opening opportunities for new investment channels and promoting invaluable connections.

The EISA is committed to ensuring that entrepreneurs from across the UK are well-informed about available schemes and able to access the necessary investment to grow and scale their businesses. Notably, the recent report by the Treasury Select Committee recognised that investment opportunities in high-growth businesses are still limited in most of the UK regions and nations, potentially undermining the economic growth potential in these areas.

Who Should Attend?

● Entrepreneurs looking to start a business or access funding to take their business to the next level.

● Wealth managers seeking knowledge and expertise in EIS and small company investing.

● Investors searching for the 'next big thing'.

● Professional advisors aiming to assist SMEs in their development and growth.
