Garden Food Prep releases new nutrition plans

Essex-based Garden Food Prep, an educational meal prep company which helps people by creating healthy eating plans, has released a series of new food preparation programmes.

“With summer hopefully not far off, it’s the perfect time to think about your health and what you eat,” said owner of Garden Food Prep Christian Larocque. “It could also be a good time to think and take stock if you’ve eaten too much chocolate over the Easter holiday.

“Our new programmes offer a week-by-week guide to food and exercise, with support offered via Facebook for long-term success for the health goal you've chosen. We take a very holistic approach.”

The programmes come with various activities such as quizzes and checklists as well as information on things such as food shopping and micro nutrients, with the aim of involving those who follow them so that by the end they are responsible for their own well-being and understanding of what they eat, and have the discipline to follow a healthy diet.

There is also an emphasis on eating natural, unprocessed foods.

Current programmes available from Garden Food Prep include a six-week food behaviour reconditioning course, a six-week plan for losing weight sustainably, and a three-week scheme for resetting food habits. On all programmes, food is prepared by expert chefs and is then delivered directly to customers.

Those that are happy with their fitness, but don’t have the time to prepare healthy meals, are also catered for.

Christian adds: “What really sets us apart is that we want our clients to become independent and have full control over this area of their lives, and we do this through education and personalised support. Equally, we work from a foundation of healthy, ‘real’ food.

“We aim to make the science behind nutrition as simple as possible.”
