Enjoy Aladdin with Happy Days Childcare
It's pantomime and play season again (oh no it isn't!), which means it's time to enjoy some traditional British theatre with Happy Days Childcare. The nursery has joined forces with the Centre Stage Company to bring local people, relatives, friends, parents, carers and children the opportunity to watch a performance of Aladdin at Haverhill Arts Centre on January 19th, 2019 at 1pm. This is a chance for the whole family to enjoy a well-deserved post-Christmas treat!
Debbie Corsby, owner of Happy Days Childcare, said: "Aladdin isn't just one of the most well-loved pantomimes, it's also an engaging story that will fire the imaginations of almost all the children who see it. We want our children not only to enjoy Aladdin, but also to use it as a springboard to develop their own performing skills, potentially putting on a small-scale performance using the stage space on our premises."
Debbie started her career in childcare back in 1988, qualifying in 1998. She began working for Happy Days in 2000, before being promoted to manager in 2002. Her work with Happy Days took a different turn in 2016, when she became the owner of the day-care facility. Since 2016 the premises have undergone some significant improvements, including fresh decor and a shady decked area for the under twos. There have also been some changes to the curriculum, with woodland walks for the children now offered when the weather permits. The nursery currently has vacancies for two-year-olds.
Happy Days Childcare offers a caring, nurturing environment for pre-school children. The children enjoy spacious facilities, "home cooked" meals and a full, engaging curriculum that works towards their holistic development. The day-care centre's staff and children look forward to enjoying the performance of Aladdin next year.
