Birmingham based business service specialists reach the finals of the SME Awards

Start.biz are honoured to be finalists in the Best Enterprising Business category at the prestigious SME Awards.

Now in their sixth year, the SME Awards were established to recognise the amazing contribution that small to medium sized enterprises (SME’s) make to the communities around them and the UK economy as a whole. In 2022, there are 5.58 million SME’s, making up 99.2% of all private businesses currently active and accounting for 61% of employment within the UK. With inflation at a 40-year high and the effects of covid still being felt by many businesses these awards are needed more than ever to showcase the UK’s fantastic small business community.

There are 23 categories, two are open to a public vote – Business Hero and Best Customer Service. The winners of the other 21 categories will be chosen by a panel of esteemed judges from a variety of backgrounds and industries. The judging panel includes June Cory, CEO of My Mustard an online advertising agency and Google Premier Partner, Chris Luff, CEO of Watford and West Herts Chamber of Commerce and previous SME Business Woman of the Year winner Clare Gallagher, Founder and Managing Director HCUK Group.
