Essex-based business coach is crowned best in the East

A local business coach has won the award for Best Clients Results in East Anglia. Sean Purcell, an ActionCOACH living in Maldon, scooped the award after his commitment to providing the best service to business owners in East Anglia stood out to the judges.

He was presented with the award at an annual conference that brings together over 200 business growth coaches in the UK, to recognise their greatest achievements from the past 12 months. Sean’s determination to support business owners to achieve outstanding results has given him the opportunity to grow his own business too. This award is testament to his hard work and perseverance.

“I’m extremely honoured to be given this award – I simply do my job, so this is just a bonus. I think this award should be a celebration of my amazing clients because, without them, it wouldn’t be possible. We work together to create something truly special within their own businesses and it just shows that their hard work is paying off too. I’ve helped over 200 businesses in the past year, delivering seminars, running boot camps and hosting group and One to One coaching – this is just the beginning.”

Sean’s coaching business means he helps local business owners develop strategies and systems, making them more efficient and profitable with engaged teams. He works with them on a one-to-one basis to determine the best course of action, which leads to the business owners taking responsibility for their progress – making inroads, not just for the bottom line but for the people they employ and their families.

Most of Sean’s clients are millennials who have often created a business by accident when becoming self-employed, it has grown to a point where they employ a few people and then they’re not sure which direction to go next. That’s when the Action Coach steps in. He harnesses the business owner’s potential, supports the learning and planning, making them feel more in control. His millennial clients can then concentrate on turning their five or six-figure-turnover businesses into seven-figure empires. His successes formed the basis for winning the award. James Hardy, 25, owner of WebInk24, reflects on his year with Sean’s help.

“With every coaching session I feel more and more in control of the business and I honestly believe that without investing in my own personal development and business development, I wouldn't have a business half as profitable as the one I have today. In the last year with Sean, I have launched a brand-new game which has sold hundreds of copies via the Apple Store and Google, I have redesigned my product offering, moved away from low-paid tasks to leveraged products and services, and have doubled my turnover.”

Sean focuses on the strengths of a business owner, helping them to maintain a measure of sanity. His aim is to get his clients working ON, not IN, their business.
