Traditional Indian street food business, PILAU, launches brand new menu
One of London’s top Indian street food restaurants, PILAU, has just launched a new in-store menu.
Founded in 2015, PILAU aims to bring authentic Indian food to diners in the capital, catering for large corporate clients as well as serving fast street food.
The new in-store menu features fresh salad bowls, rice bowls and wraps, which the expert chefs at Pilau have packed full of traditional Indian flavours. With the growing popularity of international street food, Pilau’s new menu is designed to tick all the boxes for taste, convenience and affordability.
Speaking as he unveiled the new in-house menu, PILAU owner George Pitkeathley said: “This new selection of dishes brings the real taste of India straight to the heart of central London. Our chefs have been working on these recipes for months, experimenting with various flavour combinations and traditional cooking methods.
“We feel that what we have come up with will really wow our customers. This is a menu which goes big on flavour, made with the freshest ingredients which really showcase the vibrancy and diversity of Indian cuisine. We’re so excited to have launched this new selection of dishes, and we’re sure that our customers will be as delighted as we are with the results going forward.”
George Pitkeathley and his team pride themselves on serving authentic Indian dishes with a contemporary twist. Their street food restaurants can be found in various locations across central London, all aiming to provide a relaxed fast-casual dining experience.
The dishes unveiled on their new menu are all designed to be eaten either in-house or on the go, with the restaurants serving both lunchtime crowds and diners looking for an evening meal. The Pilau chain has also created the Feed Yourself, Feed a Child campaign, which donates meals to children growing up in India.
